The Community Bankers Summit offers GSBC alumni and senior managers of community banks three days of learning and networking on the beautiful University of Colorado Boulder campus during the Annual School Session. GSBC’s partnership with the Leeds School of Business exposes our alumni to research-based solutions to building strong cultures, recruiting and retaining top talent and focusing on integrity and ethics.
Overview
Participants of the Community Bankers Summit attend a one-day community banking seminar led by GSBC faculty paired with a two-day executive leadership certificate symposium taught by CU Boulder’s Leeds School of Business faculty. GSBC alumni will enjoy the opportunity to return to Boulder and reconnect with friends and faculty!
Curriculum
About the Program
On the first day, GSBC faculty and industry experts will present strategies and best practices for community banks to deploy.
GSBC partners with the University of Colorado Boulder to deliver a Certificate in Executive Leadership through the Leeds School of Business. This certification is exclusively for GSBC alumni.

Registration & Fees
This is an intermediate/advanced level program that is best suited for GSBC alumni, managers, executive officers and regulators of community banks.
Facilities & Accommodations
State-of-the-art classrooms are provided by the Leeds School of Business in the Koebel building, near the heart of the CU Boulder campus.
A room block at a local hotel is made available to Summit attendees to accommodate their stay in Boulder.
Reunite in Boulder
Reunite with Your Peers in Boulder
Take your return to scenic Boulder, Colorado, as an opportunity to reconnect at the Annual Alumni Association Golf Tournament. The 2025 tournament is scheduled for Sunday, July 20.
Continuing Professional Education
Attendees can also count seminar hours toward Continuing Professional Education. GSBC is registered with the NASBA as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses.

Speakers of the Community Bankers Summit are a combination of Annual School Session faculty, Leeds School of Business faculty, community bankers and consultants. They deliver real-life examples, best practices, case studies and unique models of technical instruction in a lively, discussion-based group setting.
